Description

These projects have a non-empty CVS repository and also have a git repository in their GitLab? group:

  • cffi
  • clazy
  • cl-plplot
  • cl-unification
  • cmucl
  • ecl
  • ginseng
  • gsharp
  • linedit
  • oct
  • osicat
  • slime
  • trivial-iconv

Preferrably, these get de-duplicated/archived/whatever, *or* imported into GitLab? as git repostories.

Response from LINEDIT (Julian Squires):

The CVS repository is superseded by the git repository and does not need to be publically accessible any more (I wouldn't go so far as to delete it, though).

Reaction for CLAZY (Marco Antoniotti):

no. The CLAZY CVS repository can be ditched.

comment:3 Changed 9 years ago by ehuelsmann

Reaction for cl-unification (Marco Antoniotti):

Yes. You can safely ditch the cl-unification CVS repository as well.

Reaction for trivial-iconv (Kazuo):

Git repository is ok. Please delete TRIVIAL-ICONV CVS repository.

Reaction for cl-plplot (Hazen Babcock):

Yes, feel free to delete the CVS repository.

Reaction for oct (Raymond Toy):

The CVS repo can be deleted. It was converted to git some time ago, and there's no reason to keep it around.

comment:7 Changed 9 years ago by ehuelsmann

Reaction for cmucl (Raymond Toy):

The cmucl CVS repo was converted to git some time ago. But can you hold off on deleting it? I want to make sure I have a local copy of it.

Reaction for SLIME (Luis Oliveira):

SLIME has migrated to Git a while ago. Feel free to delete the CVS repository.

Reaction for OSICAT (Luis Oliveira):

We've migrated Osicat to git a while ago. Feel free to delete the CVS repository.

comment:10 Changed 9 years ago by ehuelsmann

Reaction for CFFI (Liam Healy, confirmed by Luis Oliveira):

I suggest mirroring the github repository and deleting everything else.

comment:11 Changed 9 years ago by ehuelsmann

No reactions for ECL, GINSENG & GSHARP so far.

comment:12 Changed 9 years ago by ehuelsmann

Reaction for ECL: it's outdated, as the current Git repository is hosted on GitLab?.com.

(Note: After removing the outdated Git and CVS repositories, the GitLab? repository is now being mirrored daily)

comment:13 Changed 9 years ago by ehuelsmann

Removed Ginseng and GSharp repositories due to lack of response, as per the announcement e-mail.
