Description
check the compatibility of safari, ie, firefox and opera with ajax requests and the if-modifed-since haeder - to avoid traffic!

should be set to the value "Thu, 1 Jan 1970 00:00:00 GMT", so the Internet Explorer does not cache any requests, another possiblity is to set a get parameter depending on a timestamp
